Denise Crossley, CEO of Lantern, was delighted to learn that she has been presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Women In Credit event for her contribution to the industry, and having made a difference to the debt recovery sector for the better.

Her working life in debt recovery started as an Office Junior earning £17.50 per week for a local debt collector. Denise was made a Director at 21 and bought her first DCA at the age of 30, going on to own and manage 3 further DCA’s through to sale, therefore winning this award makes her immensely proud. There are so many incredible women in this industry at many different levels, so to be singled out for this award is praise indeed, and wonderful too as the nomination alsocame from one of our respected female clients! A clear sign that the industry takes note of Denise’s contribution personally as well as how her influence has helped others to sit up and listen to what we do at Lantern and how well we do it!

Whilst it was a lifetime achievement award, Denise still has a lot more she wants to achieve in her career and she couldn’t think of a better team than the Lantern team to do it with!
